The Mieming Plateau and Fern Pass Lakes regions are located forty kilometres west of Innsbruck at 850 to 1200 m above sea level. The Mieming Plateau is an oasis comprising idyllic meadows, the Fern Pass Lakes, and the backdrop of ragged mountains. If nature ever originated anywhere, then it could most certainly have been here.
